Parallel battery ?

When you have a fully charged battery and a discharged battery connected in parallel will both batteries be half charged?

eventually the charge will balance but it wont be immediate because battery cells have internal resistance.

If there was no internal resistance in cells, as soon as the batteries were connected parrallel there would be a massive current inrush into the lesser charged battery and you would melt wires.

even with internal resistance you need to make sure your wiring is heavy enough because there would still be still a heck of a lot of current there.
