Down to Earth
Thought I'd start a thread for discussion on the game this week. I'm in a bit of a rush right now so won't be able to add much until tomorrow, but wanted to get something rolling anyways.Andy
mudman
Vick always torches the vikes now with our secondary banged up look out, he might make a couple completions this week that will only open up the run game even more
Bobby Bass
I'm going fishing, I'll tape it and if they lose it will never be seen if they win I'll watched it in an hr instead of 3 perhaps I'll catch the end live but can't pass up a Oct day in the 70's
Down to Earth
Yeah, I think this may give us a better indication as to whether the Vikes have turned the corner or not. Atlanta will be a tough place to play. Loud crowd, very good defense and Vick seems to always torch the Vikes. Hopefully the Vikes can hang with them and pull one out. Down to Earth
Taken from Fanball:Vick vs. Culpepper: A pair of quarterbacks with amazing physical attributes on the brink of putting it all together, Michael Vick and Daunte Culpepper butt heads in Atlanta on Sunday. The last time these two field generals faced each other, both accounted for 300 yards in total offense; of course, 173 of Vick's total came on the ground. Daunte got back on track last week against the Saints; can he continue the success on the road against a banged-up Atlanta secondary? This one has all the makings of a 39-26 shootout—which, in fact, was the score the last time the Vikings and Falcons played… but with Gus Frerotte and Doug Johnson at the respective helms. The Donk
Ha Ha Ha Ha...... well, now we know who the "experts" are I guess. I have to say, along with some other threads, that I too walked out on a game for the first time. The first two games that went like that I thought, "well, at least I'm watching football again". But yesterday I had enough. I had a better time watching the 49er and Cardinal game on ESPN last night, and that is just dispicable to say. Well, I'm done with the rant.
