Vikings offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie was arrested overnight, reportedly after a scuffle at a Minneapolis service station, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. McKinnie was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process, both misdemeanors. He was booked at 3:54 a.m., and posted bail.

Our View

A witness told a local Minnesota radio station that McKinnie got into a scuffle after taking offense at a comment made by a fellow player. It's probably no coincidence that Marcus Johnson was arrested and booked one minute after McKinnie, on the same charges. Our best bet is there was only one rotting hotdog left on the rotisserie and both players couldn't civilly decide who gets it. We'll find out more next Monday when both players are due to appear in court.

Remember when McKinnie knocked out the former heavyweight boxing champ of the world Shannon Briggs? Guess the boxer roughed up one of McKinnie's teammates at a Miami(hurricanes) nightclub. Then it was lights out for the champ.
