Hotels in Eureka???

Does anyone know if there is a hotel(s) in Eureka SD? I have searched everywhere and the closest I can find is Aberdeen. Is there one closer? Thanks for any help.

Many locals rent out houses/farmsites in the Eureka area as well. The homeowners usually have access to private land for you as well that you can hunt. It might be a bit late for this year, but you could check it out.

I've been thinking of heading out to the NE part of SD pheasant hunting this fall and taking my camper. Are there places where a guy can park a small camper in the small towns in the area?

Many of the towns have a city campground. Some are donation and some have a minimal fee. You will have to make some phone calls to see what towns have them. I know the city of Webster has 2 campgrounds. There is also a campground just south of Waubay. Not sure about any others.

Mike is exactly correct. There are campgrounds available for the asking. I know there is one right on Bitter Lake as well. The one on the South side of Webster is nice. I'm not exactly sure on the price, but it won't break you. Some of these campgrounds may be somewhat seasonal. I'd call around a bit.

Do you guys know how the public land within the Indian resevations work? I am mainly asking about the reservation in the NE corner. The SD public land book shows TONS of areas within the reservation boundries...

Sorry, I don't know squat about the reservations. I've always stayed away for various reasons. Maybe somebody will chime in.
