mnz71hunt
I haven't looked here before but thought I would share.1) spray fish fillets with butter flavored Pam or other cooking spray, olive oil spray works well also2) sprinkle seasoning as desired3) cook fillets on George Foreman or other two sided grillFish cooks quickly with heat source coming from both sides. Taste great and is on the lighter side for those who don't like all the batter or other shore lunch coatings.
BAIT956
Sound like an idea worth a try. How much do they cost?
koochiching
Quote: ...cook fillets on George Foreman or other two sided grill Right on, mnz... A remarkably useful gadget... not only for fish, but also for pork chops, brats, and even French Toast for breakfast!
Bobby Bass
Cookers run from 40 to 100.00 depending on size. Since I got mine I don't use the BBQ on the deck anymore. Hot dogs brauts, burgers quick and simple. Nice a nice job on a t-bone in about 10 minutes. We oil up the meat add mrs dash and cook. Also if you want to sear your baby back ribs just cook for 5 minutes then add sauce and bake in oven. Very tasty.
fishinphyl
I have cooked fish on the grill and LOVE it. We cook on the Foreman at least 5 times a week. Actually wore one out and had to replace it. The meat is so moist! Take a large tenderloin and cut into 1-2" slices. I then freeze them two to a bag. Thaw, put in a zip bag with soy sauce and olive oil. Then grill - awesome. Also, slice zucchini and do the same. It is awesome. Also used red peppers, mushrooms and zucchini and that is really good. Love my George!
BAIT956
O.K. guys, on the strength of your advice, I bought one. I was hanging around Wal Mart waiting to get a prescription filled and it cost me another $90. I have yet to give it a try, but will soon. If it's as good as you say, not that I don't trust fishermen, I'm sure I'll like it. A crock pot and microwave are my main appliances up until now. fishinphyl
I lucked out at Fleet the other day. They had the large grill, small grill and a toaster all in one box for $40.00! I just put the big grill away for future use and will use the other two items for gifts.
