Photo posting help

Can some body help me post a photo? went to FAQ no help, then did search and got no matchs, probly doin it wrong

TFB--read the second post down on this page. It explains how to do it in full detail. The hard part is finding the hosting site. I've been happy with imageshack.

First the image needs to be uploaded to a site like imageshack or photobucket or a simular phot hosting site. After its uploaded they will provide you with a direct link to your image (example-http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/2866/yourimagehere.jpg)

select this link, right click and select copy. then in your post you will click on the "image" button in the "Instant UBB Code" area (right under where you type) a pop up box will open asking you to enter the complete URL for the image. Right click in the white area and select paste. Then press the ok buttom. you should then see the link with "[image]-[/image]" on either end.

Know I know why there are not many pictures on the for sale items. imageshack says only 500kb my picture that was mailed back to me is 625kb? does that just mean the size of the pic? and how do iget it to go from my e-mail to the folder?

if your image is in an email just right click on it, choose save picture as, then choose whatever file and file name you would like. I like to use the "my documents file". Then when you upload to imageshack or other host select upload new photo, then hit the browse button, find the photo in the folder you saved it to and then click o.k

Or just send me the photo's and I'll get you set up with the links.

P.S. If your photo's are to large you will need software to edit them. Most digital cameras will have some sort of software to do this. Otherwise there are free shareware programs and resonable priced programs available.

OK, I'm trying but I also sent to Paul as a back up but not sure yet if he got it, I have a old windows 98 I'm trying to deal with, thanks for your help, once I get this figured out I'll be a total happy camper. Next step "avatar"

I haven't had anything show up in my mailbox yet. It shouldn't really matter what O.S. your using (98, 2000, xp). I'll help you out with the avatar, if you need it, also.

Thanks, I'd like to do this asap but as you can see by the time on this reply i've been buried, hardly even have time to think about fishin but things will lighten up in a couple of days then I'll be good to go .
