Kennel Cough?

Wondering if my dog has kennel cough or something else..She has been coughing like a person with a bad chest cold. She is also doing a cough/gag thing and spitting up a frothy saliva. It is not a continuous thing, but off and on since Sunday morning. I am probably going to call the vet today. Wondering if anyone has seen the same thing?

guy i work with has german shepards, they got it once, get it taken care of ASAP. the way he was talking it sounds serious.
