okay guys..im a little confused.i hear people saying that they are charging there vexilars every month.i havent charged my marcum since the begining of april.is this going to be a problem?i have had both the negative and postive wires both disconnected.can someone put me up to date on what i should do. -joe-

Probably not. If you charged it up before you put it away it should be o.k. I have an auto charger that I leave hooked up all summer. Every once and a great while it will charge the battery so I suspect that the battery has a natural discharge from sitting. If you knew how long these batteries sit in storage or on the shelf before they are used I think you would be surprised. The auto charger is deffinetly worth it!

Try hooking up the unit, if it runs you should be good to go.

okay guys..i recharged the battery completly back up.100 percent.and the unit is working....maybe i ad that before i charged it up i turned the unit on it was working well..meaning giving flashes and showing bottom.

MarCum recommends storing your flasher with the DCS disconnected just as you've done. With any battery its good practice to top it off every so often.
