Has anyone used a Lumenock? I wonder if they are worth trying for arrow recovery in low-light situations. I bet they look neat flying.

I use them and they help a great deal in finding your arrrow. Your also right on how they look flying , not unlike a tracer bullet...They have a video on their HSOforum I think.Or at least did...

I dont see how they could not help you in arrow recovery. And yes they are kind of fun to watch fly! However, you must practice with them in. Expecially on longer shots as they do weigh more than a regular nock...so arrow weight will go up and FPS down some. I doubt you will see much change out to 20 yards.. but from there be carefull.

I have shot them out to forty at the range, I think it's unnoticeable.

I wouldn't say it helps in arrow recovery, but on pass throughs its going to put you on your blood trail faster.

Lumenok's weigh about 30-32 grains....standard nocks are about 12-14, so you are adding roughly 20 grains to your arrow. not a huge issue unless your arrow is on the weak side for your set up. they are a handy tool for following arrow flight, tracking shots, and recovering shots.
