Snowmobile windshield for boat console?

Just got an Alumacraft console, a Competitor OS with a 90 Merc. Screams like a bat out of, well, you know. Nearly 40 mph. Console has no windshield, and I looked at my snowmobile out in the yard and thought: Why wouldn't one of those work? They're about the same size. I know I could rig one to fit the console. At 40 mph in the boat, a guy really wants a windshleld, you know?

Sounds to me like it would work. I don't know of any snowmobile that only goes 40 MPH I would go for it.

My sled's an old Yamaha Exciter 440. Light and still so fast that it'll leave me behind if I don't hang on tight! There are so many old dead sleds hanging around northerm Minnesota I figure I could get a windshield off one more on the cheap (or free) than I could get a boat windshield.

hey paul, how about a 1978 or '79 (can't remeber the exact year) John Dear 600. Tops out at a blazing 38 mph!
