Good article Buzzsaw. Can't say I disagree with it at all. The below quote from the article I think says it all on the direction the organization is taking.

"Moreover, by drafting Aaron Rodgers, the Packers chose not to give Favre a weapon he could use in his 15th season.

"They go and they draft in the first round, when you know all Brett Favre is playing for is another trip to the Super Bowl," Jackson said. "They draft a quarterback and then ask him, 'Will you tutor him and get him ready to take over your job?' To his credit, Brett said, 'No. He can watch me just like everybody else watches me and learn from that.' "

Here Favre is talking playing a couple more years and what do they do instead of bringing in players to better equip them to progress in the playoffs they draft a future QB. I'm starting to lean a bit more now towards the side that this will be Favre's last year.

I don't think you can expect an organization to draft someone just to help Brett Favre. They need to plan for the long term, not just the short term. If they didn't draft a QB of the future with a guy who every year may be done, then they'd be up for a well deserved beating from you guys for not being prepared when he's done... Its a no win situation for them.

I agree! Javonb has been removed, it was not funny and it took away from the other two. Once again DTE brings the truth to the table.
