hanronson
I just got a Trap Scout and have never fished out of that style house before. I was wondering if there are any rod holders on the market that mount on the brackets that hold the poles? Thanks.------------------(aftacrops nolonga)
0 PerchJerker
Are you looking for holders for your rods while fishing, or holders for rods while transporting and storing them?
0 Northlander
I really like my rock n reel tub mount. I also have a Otter tub mount rod holder but prefer the rock n reel.

0 PerchJerker
I always bring along 1 rod holder that sets on the ice. I use it in my trap, or if I fish a hole outside of the trap. Pretty easy to stash it out of the way inside the sled, and super versatile. I strongly recommend at least one of these, especially if you like to move around at all. With a previous fish trap I modified some wire rod holders that were designed to slip over the lip of a 5 gallon bucket. I cut the wire on the part that went inside the bucket, so the holders ended in 2 strait pieces of metal. I drilled holes in the lip of my sled and used the rod holders there. Only problem was that the sled was so low the holders were close to the ice.Another option I sometimes use is a rod holder that I attach to the seat in my trap with a big spring clamp. Got the holder at Gander - it's small and bright green. Works ok but I don't use it very often.I also have an otter and have 2 of their rod holders in it, and like them a lot.Good luck, I hope some of this helps.
