Windy City Walleye Hunter
Sorry Sled,But once again, you are wrong. I just got back from 5 days in Las Vegas. Windy City Walleye Hunter
OK Sled,Put a skirt on me and give me a pina colada but the guy was not half bad. He has a ton of hits, heard in elevators across the country, but his show was tight, the orchestra was good and the lights were decent. I have spent worst nights. The poker tables were good to me and the food was way above average this trip. We saw Tony and Tina's Wedding for half price on Sunday and it was OK to. Weather was in the mid 90's and I got quite the suntan (burn) cruising in the convertable. Glad to see my beloved with a slight pulse, baby steps. Next up, YOHAN.YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YES!Windy
SledNeck
How can you still get burnt???Did you stay indoors all summer?
genegodawa
Yeah Windy, and after being up north for 2 weeks too?On to Bearlie Manenough, I too have seen him in concert (at the old Poplar Creek outdoor many yrs ago) with my wife. Women love that soft stuff and once in a marriage I won't mind just as long as I can still listen to my Rock n Roll 8-tracks out in the garage. So the poker tables were good, huh? Hope you weren't putting too much down on your beloved in the Sports Book. Did you get to hook up with NevadaTim in LV?Now, back to the race: Had a lucky inning today against Johnson to put the slide on hold. Can your Sox hold on? and will they get this out of their system in time for the playoffs? or fold up like a well-worn pair of bluejeans? or is that well-played accordion? Windy City Walleye Hunter
I couldn't figure it out either. We took a ride to Laughlin to visit my wifes aunt and uncle who live in Bullhead City, AZ and the trip took about 1.5 hours. It was about 93 degrees and sunny so I popped the top and cranked the A/C and away we went. When we got there, they asked us if we wanted to swim and hot tub. So we were in the pool for about two hours before grilling up some steaks. I thought there was no way to burn, but man was I glowing. Thursday at work, my head started peeling like a grape! Still got the color below but it took off a layer or two. Go figure.Anyway, rest ye merry gentlemen on Monday because the war starts again Tuesday in the baggie-dome. mnwild
Hey Windy did you have any luck in Vegas?? I was out there Aug 11th-14 and did real well gambling. We stayed at the Fitzgerrold's downtown. I have another question for you. I mentioned a few weeks back I am heading to Chicago Sept 9th-11th and we were going to go to Midieval Times, well plans changed. The lady I am meeting out there can get 2 tickets to the White Sox game against LA on the 9th, sec 117 row 3.I have never been to a game there and was wondering if you have an idea if these are good seats?? Windy City Walleye Hunter
Hey Wild,We were out there Aug 13 thru 17th, did OK. Interestingly enough, we lost the biggest part of our money the last day before we headed out to McCarrin at FITZGERALDS! My wife decided to try one more round of Let It Ride and we had not been off the strip so we headed downtown and man did we lose the dinero. As Cousin Eddie said, I ain't seen a beatin like that since someone put a banana down my shorts and turned a monkey loose! Oh well, rest of the gaming was good. As for your tix, they are on the first base side about midway between first base and the right field foul pole. Third row should be ok, field perspective should be nice and you can look into the Sox dugout. Any seat in the Cell has got to be better than the band box up north a few miles! (I needed to get my Cubbie lovin friends stirred up a bit) Good Luck and Go White Sox.YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YES! Windy

SledNeck
I dont just stick to the strip...especially at night. Palms and Hard Rock I always hit. Rio seafood buffet. EspnZone is where I eat on the strip (and sober up) for obvious reasons, and Harley Davidson Cafe has the best BBQ sauce Ive ever tasted but Cokes are like $6 a piece, makes you feel like your at Deja Vu. I only play black jack there. You cant win until your down about $500 then it comes rollin in.ps McCarron Air Port
Windy City Walleye Hunter
Sled,By the time I get to the airport I'm lucky to get on the right plane, much less spell the name right! But I can spell, blackjack and "I'm All In" just fine so that helps.Windy
mnwild
Thanks Windy,I much rather stay downtown than the strip. I dont like how crowded the strip get and all the dump that the (you know who) hands out to people. While I was downtown Saturday night I ran into someone from MN at the Vegas club, Bloomington. I was wearing my Twins hat and that gave it away. Did you get a chance to see the Freemont experiance?? The one the showed at midnight was a tribute to America and it was awesome. For the baseball game, I thought sitting that close to the field you may not be able to see everything but than again cell field isnt the "Big inflatable toilet" we have here, I will be happy just watching baseball OUTSIDE. Windy City Walleye Hunter
Wild,Though there is a "crown" to the field, you should be OK. You may even have a chance at a foul ball or two. As for the baggie dome, it was very forgiving tonight. If Mr. Ford had tried that catch in "the cell" they would have been carrying him off on a stretcher and a neck collar. What a great game. Both pitchers were outstanding. That was the 60th one hitter for the Sox and it was the first one that they lost, go figure. Oh well, have fun, see you in "Sin City" sometime. Got a hunch...Bet A Bunch!YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD....YES! Windy
