walleyes12
I have decided to finally due it and Build a 7x14 sleeper. I was just wondering what size steel due most of you have on your frames. I was thing about using 2x3 Channel Iron. I am not sure if that over kill or maybe I should beef it up alittle more. Any comments would be great. hawkeye43
If I were you I would go with 2x3 or 2x4 tube, much stronger, less weight and 3 times easier to weld together. Another idea is to use 2x2 tube for the cross pieces in between the rails. If you can see if you can make the wheels follow in line with the truck wheels, its much easier to pull in deep snow if it all follows in the same track

Eric Wettschreck
I've made a few. I use 2 x 3 tubing. I use 3 x 3 tubing for the tounge peice. It's not nearly as heavy as you may think and it's pretty darn easy to weld.
