Where to store our boat....

This is our first year of everything boating.

Suggestions on where to store our boat?

How much you willing to spend? You have indoor and outdoor options with various levels of security and $$.

I guess am looking for options at this point. I don't want to pay more than my boat payment to store it but I don't expect it to be free either. I would like to have it be safe.

State Fair grounds in Oct out first april, not sure of the cost.

My brother-in-law has a work shop that is empty and he was thinking of doing somthing like this with it. It would be safe built of brick and all locking doors. I could ask him how much he would want if you would like ( It is at him home in Lindstrom about 30 miles north of St. Paul. I also know some people that store there boat and camper at the State Fair grounds. They have been very happy with it you could call the state fair ground info. They should be able to send you to who would know more about it. Also any mini storage place has room for boats but the cost can get up there. Leave a post here if you want me to find out how much for the work shop. I hope it was Ok to post this not sure if this would be selling something as I am not trying to.

No matter where you store it make sure the people that you store it with have insurance for this purpose. Lots of private people storing boats in pole barns etc. Thats ok but they have no ins. Check with your insurance to make sure its covered in a storage place without insurance of their own at least.
