What part of Spring? Do you want to fly in to a remote lake or drive in? What type(s) of fish do you want to go after? Do you want really fancy accomodations or a basic clean dry cabin? American Plan or Housekeeping?

What's your fishing experience and what species of fish do you want to target?Fly ins are usually a sure thing for lots of fish that are easy to find, but those trips are more expensive than resorts you can drive to. Knobbys and Rusty Myers are qauality fly in outfitters. If you want lots of walleye action Lac Suel at Ear Falls anytime in June is excellent. Any of the resorts in the Ear Falls will provide a nice clean cabin and close access to fishing. For Ear Falls you will have to get on the stick because late May and early June accomodations are hard to come by. If you want Walleye and Bass, then LOW is the place. Check out either Morson or Nester Falls or try the resorts up on Whitefish Bay. If you don't have much fishing experience then check out Witch Bay on LOW. They provide about the best information for fishing spots that I have ever run across. The choices are many. The thing I would do is hit the Sport Shows, expecially the early ones. There you can talk to the owners and compare information.

I have always wanted to stay at Fireside Lodge, but those prices are outrageous. You can stay at an extremely nice place on LOTW and catch bigger muskies for that kind of money.

There are not a ton of places that mix great musky fishing with good pike fishing, LOTW, West Side of Lac Seul, and possibly Cedar Lake are options I can think of offhand.

Canyon Lake and the Indian Chain near Vermillion Bay have great musky fishing with access to portage in lakes for Northern that you can hammer, also very reasonbly priced places unlike Fireside.
