Need Help Re: Bill Of Sale!!!

Can anyone tell me, on a bill of sale, do I need to list out separately what the trailer price is on the boat I'm selling? I believe there is tax only on the trailer, and I wonder if that cost in the bill of sale needs to be listed separately.

when I got my boat in July and went to the DMV for trailer lic. They did ask me to give them a dollor amount on the trailer. Hope this helps.

of the two boats i have bought it showed as a package deal. the buyer just has to give them some dollar amount when they get it registered, but they can decide on the amount. ( my ranger trail trailers were only worth $300 )

When I bought my rig in WI and registered in MN went throught the same deal. The local License bureau used a % of the total for the trailer. I think 10%. I had used the NADA site for trailer value and printed out the sheet. They accepted that value which was much less than the % figure they had wanted.
