Lakemaster Chip ?

A buddy of mine bought the new Lowrance Lakemaster Minnesota chip a couple of weeks ago and he is now having problems it not loading up in his Lcx 15mt.(It is the chip that works with this unit.)

A couple of days ago this chip was working fine, showing contours and maps. Now he said when he trys to load it up for some reason he can't get the lake maps to show and roads to show. There isn't a chance that this chip got erased some how, is there? The way it sounds, he is going through the right method of loading the chip files.

Has any one else had a problem like this?

I had a chip go bad. Take it back to the place of purchase and have them check it out.

You may have to turn the Map back on.

Go to the Gps map screen, hit menu scroll down to map data enter and then towards the bottom select the map you want to use, once its selected or turned back on you should see MN outlined on the Map page of the unit.
