Slyster
The other day I fished a good 8 hours- and when all was said and done.. I caught a personal record of 8 species of fish in one outing... all on tubes or senkos. What a day! I was just targeting bass (and occasionally some panfish with 1" tubes).. and sure didn't expect this diversity! 1- Green (Bluegill?) Sunfish..2 2- Hybrid (?) Sunfish..4 (see panfish forum) 3- Walleye...1 4- Largemouth Bass...12 5- Smallmouth Bass...2 6- Rock Bass...1 7- Perch...1 8- Northern...1 24 fish of 8 varieties in 8 hours... at sunset I realized how many types I had caught I started targetting Crappies... didn't get any.. and I MAY have had some bluegills... not positive. Days are getting shorter! Get out there!
FOOT
How about eleven (11) in one day on one lure.I was floating the Zumbro River from the Lake Zumbro power (Contact US Regarding This Word) down to Bluff Valley campgrounds with 3 other canoes and 7 other guys.My tally was:CrappieNorthernLarge MouthSmall MouthSilver BassWalleye SaugerBrown Trout (this was the biggest surprise)Stone Roller SuckerCatfishRock BassCouldn't believe it. I was using a yellow and black Mepps like spinner. We had such great luck that day that someone had a fish on almost all of the way. What a blast

hanson
I compiled a pretty nice list one afternoon as well, the difference being it is a little easier with river fish.1- Walleye2- Rock Bass3- Smallmouth Bass4- Channel Catfish5- Eelpout6- White Sucker7- Carp8- Goldeye9- SheepsheadI didn't get the northern pike that day, if I did, I think I would have covered all the species available in that particular river system. Nope, wait a minute, there are also a few crappies and muskies caught as well, just not very frequently.
