Hot Weather!

I saw a post on the Muskie forum from RK concerning extreme caution with C & R for muskie during this hot weather. Like he said the water temps are extremely high right now and the utmost caution should be taken. Please be careful with ALL species during this time. Let's all take a part in protecting the fisheries in MN. Thanks.

Great post Yeti! Not only does that pertain to muskie's, it pertains to ALL[/b} big fish that are caught in these warm temps.

One thing I've done is to go to heavier line so the fidgting part would be less time. Several years back I worked for close to 30 min to revive a sublegal muskie for a boatmate using 8# line in July. The fish did not make it! Any pointers you can tell me to reduce that happening in the future will be appreciated!
