Benelli Nova

I won a Benelli Nova 3 1/2 from DU this spring. It fits me great but two things about it bother me. First, the trigger has a lot of creep. Does anybody know if this is adjustable?

Second, the recoil. The gun kills at both ends. Yeah, I am a recoil baby. Can anybody tell me if the recoil reducer accessory is available in the Twin Cities area?

You may go to any FFL dealer and they can order a recoil reducer. The one that Benelli has for that gun will cost you around $70. I am going to get one and I guess it well worth the money. I have a NOVA and I love it to death. I think the Wingmaster and Nova are neck in neck. Both very reliable guns.

i own both a nova and a wingmaster as well as an 870 express, there is no comparison. the wingmaster is by far the higher quality gun. the nova would be on the lines of an 870 express.

on the recoil reducer, call around some shops carry them while others would need to roder it for you.

I had a chance to shoot a Nova in N.D. last. I normally shoot a 870 Express Super Mag. This may be a little bias as I have been shooting Remington for years. The Nova did really kick and I also had a bad trigger. The trigger pulled very hard. As far as comparing it to a Wingmaster there is none.

I won a Benelli Nova 3 1/2 at a TIP banquet a couple years ago. I think it is the best gun for waterfowl hunting. After shooting 3 1/2" shells its hard to go back to 3"s. These guns a seriously a tank. I hunt every weekend in the fall and keep your tube clean because if there is just a little dirt in there or when it gets realy cold out your 3 1/2" shells start to lock up in the tube. other than that its a great gun.
