Jig Trailers

What do you guys use? What about the chunks that are specificly made for jigs(plastic and pork)? Which brand has seemed to hold up the longest before ripping(plastics)? Do you guys use craws mainly, other?

The reason I ask is because I have been doing well on jigs latley and it used to be my "worst feared can't hook anything on it lure" grin.gif to now being one of my go to baits. All my tailers are ripped up now and am heading back to the store to pick up some more of those gndr mtn. craws, but was going to also get some other trailers to experiment with and try to get some confidence in. Thanks for any replies.

I personally like Zoom's Super Chunks (or the various other baits they have labeled something Chunk). They hold up fairly well and have a nice action in the water. I will also use various crayfish imitation plastics or good old pork. It's hard to beat pork for its durability and slow fall.

i usually use the power bait chunks, with my jigs. one tip( an old one!) . when using chunks; run a tooth pick about a 1/8 " back from the front. ( you run this cross ways completely through the plastic) then trim the tooth pick flush against the sides of the plastic. when you hook it on your jig, you run the hook pt. behind it. this will help alot to keep the fish from pulling/tearing the plastic off.
