AMSOIL Smoking

TSCTSC

Question

Well, I have been running Amsoil Oil Injector for last couple of months on my Yammy 2 stroke Oil injected. I have reached the conclusion that it smokes A LOT. A lot more than when I was using Yamalube and Valvoline. Once I finish up this oil, I will change to Yamalube and try to compare the difference.

I used Amsoil Oil Injecter oil in my 1996 Yamaha 25 horse oil injected motor and it did great. Never smoked at all. You may have another problem with your motor. Make sure your getting propper amounts of oil injected.

I've been using it for years, in different motors. It's not going to eliminate smoking, but there is a huge difference.

Are you sure you didn't mix Amsoil with the other 2 cycle oil in the oil tank? I thought I recall you just trying this stuff out recently, less than 2 months? Things don't just happen overnight....

Simplest thing would be to just drain out the Amsoil and try the oil you used before. If it still smokes you know its the motor. If thats the case get it to someone who knows their motors and have them check it out.
