Cooter
A question about those spinnerbaits that don't run true - where the blades run to one side or the other rather than directly above the head. In those cases, is the wire in need off tweaking or could it be a wrong combination of too big of blades and too light a head, or too long or short of an arm, etc? Some seem to respond to bending the wire, others don't. Thanks.
Deitz Dittrich
cooter, you may get more response in the bass forum on this... HOwever,Bend the arm of the spinnerbait closer to the hook and make sure its alligned with the hook... often times its the trailer plastic that messes things up.I usually have to tweak and rebend my spinnerbaits after every fish. delmuts
like deitz said they need to be tuned. also you may have to light of a head for the speed of your retrieve. tune them as described and if you still have trouble with them laying over, try slowing your retrieve speed down some and see if this helps. Cooter
Sounds like a combination of things from what you guys are saying - first is I like bigger twister trailers and second I like a fast retrieve, usually fishing muskies. Maybe need to try smaller trailers and smaller blades or willows instead of Colorados. Thanks for the help.
