junior9
Any advice on making a move easier on a dog? We are moving to a new place this weekend...and wondering if there is anything that I should do or look out for with my 7 month old GSP and getting acquainted with the new surroundings? Thanks,Dave
Eric Wettschreck
Kind of like new puppies, try and get as much stuff with familiar scents as you can. Example, if your dog is used to being in a crate, and it has a pad or carpet in it, bring it with. The familiar scent will help.
Fishing-Around
Does the old house have a picticular area for Doggy Relief out side? Make the new house area as close to matching the area as possible due to the age of the pup... After that good luck, my GSP is a 10 month old male and every day is a new day for him
charliepete2
I do a lot of traveling with my dogs so they didn't really seem to care when we moved up to Maple Grove last year. As long as they know where their kennels and food bowls are they are happy.
