On my 1994 Bass Tracker I have the stock Hummingbird Wideeye Depth Finder. About 2 weeks ago it began making a high pitched clicking noise. The noise speeds up as I push the throttle down to go faster. I checked the transducer and it seems to be fine. Any ideas on why this is? Can it be fixed or is it time to retire the unit for good?
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
