I use these to keep my snells tangle-free and easy to find. The 'system' is light, customizable in size and length, and fits into most standard depth plano, flambeau, etc. plastic cases.
1- get some scrap 3/4" inside diameter foam pipe insulation - the black stuff.
2- finish the perforated slit
3- cut to desired length
4- put the loop or swivel end of the snell, leader or rig in the slit
5- wrap line around foam and stab hook in to secure snell.
Now take the $15.00 you saved and put it in the jar marked "New Rod from MidWest".
