You should require a 2 bank charger for what you have. Your trolling motor batteries are the only ones that need to be charged since your motor charges the starting battery. An on board charger allows you to charge the batteries without opening the battery compartment and attaching the charger. This is a handy for boats that are difficult to get at the batteries. Just plug in the charger and let it work.

I would recommend an inboard marine charger, without hesitation. Perhaps a Minnkota fully automatic 2 bank charger at least. If you want, you could get a 3 bank and keep all three batteries charged. Minimum amps per bank should be 5 for trolling motors and 3 for starting motor. A minnkota 3 bank is quite expensive, so perhaps a 2 bank is what you could go for. Another option is to buy a 2 bank and a single bank. It is cheaper. One other thing tho', it can be quite a hassle to install the charger cos you need to run cables to your batteries, just so you know. But once everything is set, the onboard charger is a sweet thing to have.

I have a three bank charger, and I will never be with out one again. get home from the lake, just plug it in, and leave it plugged in untill you use the boat. it also works good when I am away for the weekend, just pack a long extension cord with ya. I have a 10 10 3 charger, and it will recharge the batterys very quick.

Guest and Minn Kota have about the best chargers. They both run a little more than the big store brands, but they work flawlessly and have a battery tender built in so that you can leave the batteries in the baot over winter and leave the charger plugged in to maintain them. They will last you longer with one of these chargers.
