Baby lake

has anyone fished Baby lake near Hackensack this year?

we are going over fathersday weekend and I've never fished it

I'm not looking for hotspots just some suggestions on colors and lures to get me started

I haven't been on Baby yet this year but I used to fequent it alot when I lived up there. Don't be afraid to get shallow on Baby, right up in the rushes early in the year. The Lake has a good ciscoe population so "match the hatch" silver w/blue green worked well for me. The fish seem to like those oddball type plastics eels, dogs, etc. Also don't get discoraged if you don't see alot of fish, they seem to bee spooky on this water for some reason.
