GregT
If you want your 5 yo to be able to bring home his 4 walleyes from Canada, he will need to have his own license. Otherwise the fish he keeps will be counted towards the limit of another license holder. At least this was the information I was given Last fall when I was in Morson with my 2 boys. tntn3
That is correct. He can fish on a relative’s license but can't transport back any. If you do buy a license I think you can write on the freezer bag who's limit the catch goes against and you're ok.
fishyguy
If I can add to the posts already given. Write the license # on the wrapping and keep the copy of the license. If your kid did not have a license they are illegal already unless grandpa did not keep his, then write grandpa's license on the fish and make sure he is with the program.
