Lowrance X-125 - or make the jump to color?

I'm looking at getting a new graph with more power and more definition than what I have - I will mount it on the console. I've been looking at the X125 - and it seems to have what I want....just wondering what advantages I would get out of going color (say a X102C?) Is it easier to pick out transitions or anything other than just pretty to look at and impress your fishing buddies?

Also - seems like most places are listing the X125 at $299 - anyone seen any deals lately?

Do a Google search for X-125 you find places selling it from $200 to $299. And check out Jollyannmarine he will match prices and no tax or shipping that is were I got mine.

I just picked up a color globalmap and the main difference I've noticed is that you can see the screen from further away, and from more of an angle. It really works great if you run a tiller. Hope this helps

I have the x102c and you can tell much better the thermocline, rocks/structure, fish, and baitfish. Moreso than a B&W.
