Poinsett Conditions and Activity

How are the lake levels and boat ramps? Any of the problems with green slime that generally plague this lake during the early summer? Lastly, has there been any bite?

I know that Prestrude's landing on the north side is the best. You can use the one by lakeview, but it's pretty shallow.

I was at Saarinans (sp.) last week and it was extremely shallow. Most people are using Prestrudes.

Fishing has been pretty good out there, lots of small walleyes and big white bass. The keeper walleyes are in the mix but not going rampant.

Hammerd gold spinners with leechs ussaully work the best on Ponisett. I ussually fish in front of the Methodist bible camp. Grapes point is also good to try.

I'm heading out to Poinsett this weekend for a fishing trip.

What has been working lately and in what general area? I'm familiar with the lake but would just like to be able to maximize my fishing time.
