Eau Claire R. muskie

Heard a rumor a news station in the cities area had some video footage of some guy who caught a big muskie on the Eau Claire R - am assuming in WI? Anyone see this?

Yeah, I saw it on Sunday evening. It was about a Japanese lure builder who made a trip to fish muskie because they have none in Japan. They showed him catching one, but it wasn't too big. It's hard to judge from TV, but I'd say that it was 36-40 inches.

That mustve been it. The story I heard made it sound like a monster - shoulda known better coming outa that river.

I don't think it was even that big- I would say 32" at the most. It was a fantastic looking fish though. The Japanese guy was so excited, I though he was going to hump it.

Yeah, it was probably that size, but it was hard to judge. He was excited!
