New to the sport

My daughter (who will be 11 soon) and I have been bitten by the bass bug. We do not have a boat other than a 12 foot alum. row boat. Are there some good places where we can still go and have some fun?

There are tons of places...But kind of depends where you are located??

Oh yeah there are tons of places. Carver County has many lake with nice fishing docks. If you're near this area let me know and I can advise you of some good ones. Have fun!

We live in SW Minnesota - near Marshall. There is one very small lake that we have fished at, but not sure of any other good places. We do get to the Cities every so often - my Mom still lives there.

Sorry, don't know that area very well. I do know that the pheasant hunting is good down there but never fished in that area. Whereabouts does your mom live? Might be able to help you out~
