So far so good. Overnight charges to full. Has separate LED to let u know status of each battery. No probs so far. But I tried Cabela's Promariner Distributed on Demand Charger - dump. Stopped charging my batteries after the first time. But for a 3 bank charger, it was the cheapest around, but it did not seem to work well for me.

I mounted mine in the back (01 Mr. Pike 16) and connected the original lead to the starter battery. The two trolling batteries up front I had to cut the ring connectors off and solder in enough extra wire to make them reach.(Fleet Farm auto dept) Simple process and all the wires are hidden. Shrink tubing and electrical tape on the solder connections and you're good to go.

I really do not know. I installed everything, worked well for one day and then blam ---- all 3 banks stopped charging. The green led stays on but the red does not come on to charge. I checked all the wires and fuses and it was all OK. The charger just refused to recognize a battery that needs charging. I think may be their distributed on demand charging system has some fault and does not trigger properly to charge the batteries. I got a Minnkota 2 bank instead and it charged up the batteries fine and has been doing so since.

Hey, I also have 01 Pike 16.

I also did the same set up but it was a little bit of a pain running the cables up the side to the two batteries in front. No doubt LUND provided conduits and holes to run the cables thru, but there was a bit of a struggle to get them cables to the middle battery especially. In any case, managed to get them all hooked up and totally hidden. Nothing is showing except that if you looked under the starboard gunwale upfront you would see cables. But there are cables there anyway for the bow lights and bow trolling motor socket. I had to use the cable snake from fleet farm to pull some of the cables.

Yep we did it the same. I used a wire puller also. The solder joints and fuses came out in the side storage compartment. I agree the middle box took some body contortions to get it there!! grin.gif
