Where's the best deal to get a prop recast? I've seen posts in the past mentioning some smaller shops but can't recal the names. I'm in the NE metro but would get on the road for the right deal.

Granny hit it on the head. Jay will help you out and at a good price. Even sending it to him in the mail you will save $. He also has the best prices I have found on new props. He has a full line of boating related products as well.

Another nod for Jay. Sent my prop in on a Friday had it back on Wednesday. Haven't found anyone better and at a great price too!

Marks Prop in Forest Lake is where I took mine last year and he did an excellent job. I know of 3-4 people that have taken their props there and everyone has been very pleased with the quality of the work.

Check with "Performance Prop" in Crystal just north of the "Crystal Crash Airport" on old 81, had mine fixed there last year, seemed pretty reasonable and quick.

Thanks guys! I just ordered a new prop from Jay so I guess he owes you a cold one His prices are good and I'm not sure where I'll have mine recast but am looking forward to finally having a spare prop in the boat! I hope to have the new one for the river this weekend
