Has anybody converted a bus to a camper?

A friend of mine converted one many years ago and still uses it. It seem to me when I see most of them that has been converted they are pulling horse trailers. Good luck if you decide to do this.

Rubberduck, Over the years, I think I've helped (watched), as my Dad converted about 6 of 'em (School buses and Coaches). The last 3 (35' models) he bought from the MTC in Mpls. All at the same time. The most spendy one was $375.00(a driver), 2nd was $325.00 (also, a driver) the cheapest was $100.00 with the replacement rebuilt tranny included! Right place/ Right time kinda thing. They make great campers! IMHO, They're constructed more "sturdily" than a bought one and are more durable than a aluminum foil/plywood wall units. Plus you've got the ability to set it up just for you. Good luck! Phred52
