walleyeking#8
What did everyone think of Tony's flaming orange #20? I'm glad it wasn't any more serious than it was. I didn't hear what caused the big blaze, was it an oil line or broken fuel line? I'm sure he will be ready for phoenix this coming sunday. I was sure impressed with the #48 Lowes team at Texas. At the beginning of the race I didn't think he was going to finish in the top 30, but was I ever mistaken. It was to bad for casey, I was hoping he would get his first nextel cup win. Leader
tony had an interview today and says he'll be ready this weekend, he's running both the busch and the nextel events.he said he's hurtin, but no indication that i heard of what had happened to his car.luck hasn't been with Gibbs teams.(big drag)yes the 48 was impressive and overcame adversity. looked like he had the Jeff Gordon syndrom of last year.it would of been really cool to see either Kasey Kahne #9 or Casey Mears #41 get their first win. TNFL
Too bad for #20, I think he is an ( ! ) but he is definately one of the 3 best drivers out there. The thing about good drivers like #48 and #24 is that if their car is not right they know how to explain it to the crew chief so it can be fixed. Unlike #8 if its bad at the start he might as well park it for the day.
