93 Johnson Fast Strike?

I recently bought a used boat with a "93 Johnson 150 Fast Strike" on it. I have heard they are decent motors, anyone have any input?

The fast strike version of the johnson / evinrude motors are very good motors with very few problems, typically...

Thanks for the reply, always looking for that outside opinion. The only problem I have heard about was the power packs.

yeah.. the power packs.. that's kind of a problem on most johnson / evinrude motors... but not one that I'd worry about too much.. it's a problem that plagued OMC on just about everything... but it's not something that would keep me from buying the motor.

From the few people I had talked with before I bought it, they all said the same, good motor in general, reliable also. Thanks for the input!
