ChuckN
That's cool! I've got Ringbills, Goldeneyes, Wood Ducks, Mallards and Canada Geese in my slough that just arrived over the weekend. It is so cool to see.. Looks like EatatWendy's is somewhere on the Mississippi River near Lake Bemidji. That's about the only open water because I was just up there! Sartell Angler
sweet...those tracking studies are very interstingI look forward to seeing a bunch of migrants pour into the area in the coming weeks...wish there was more standing water for them so they might stick around a few days.SA/wdw
GullGuide
It's amazing, if you go through the list of ducks and view their flightpaths, A LOT of them pass through MN especially the SW corner. I think once they get all 56 ducks up on the board, this fall will be very interesting. We'll be able to project flights and give us an idea of where the birds are. Not sure if that was the intent of the HSOforum, but you darn well better bet I'll be using it that way!!
Eric Wettschreck
In the spring time here in good ole SW MN we see TONS of ducks. The cool thing is we see many species that we don't ever see until the following spring. It will be interesting to follow them this fall. Personal experience says for the last 8 or so years the ducks have pretty much disappeared in this corner of the state come hunting season.
