Lund pedestal replacement ??

Hi All, I have a Pro-V and want to install a taller, stand-up butt seat type of pedestal on the bow. Will the swivl-eze wedge swap directly into this or do I need to replace the base as well?

No expert on this for sure.. but I would think you would just have to replace the seat.. Just make sure that if you are buying a new pole that is longer that you buy one that works with the base you already have in your boat.

That's my question, will the swivl-eze wedge pole/pedestal work with the factory Lund base???

As far as I know the SwivelEze and the Springfield wedge bases are the same. Works on mine.

No, the Lund base isn't a wedge. You want the plug-in pedestal

It all depends on what year your lund is.. up until about 3 years ago (or so) lund used the wedge lock 100%... (which is what I presume the original poster asked about).

They now have the plug style which just slips over the top of the base.

Thanks all. It is a 93 Pro-V so it looks like the swivl0eze wedge should work. Thanks again...COMEON OPEN WATER!!!!
