Marcum LX3 troubles?

Lately while fishing panfish I'm having a VERY hard time with the Marcum picking up my small panfish jig?I have to turn the gain all the way up and the adjustable transducer arm has to be just perfect in order to pick the jig up at all.Anyone have this happen to them or have some suggestions as what to try?

Do a search on this forum for marcum lx3 and you'll probably see three things.

1. Some lx3 tranducers have been doing this.

2. Most suggest calling Marcum customer service.

3. Marcum will most likely back their product and serve you accordingly.

Contact Marcum customer service and see what they have to say. There was a batch of transducers manufactured that had issues. Likely that is the problem and they will help you out.

Email MarCum customer support with a description of the problem. They'll give you an RMA# and have you send in your transducer.

I had the same problems with mine last year, I sent it back to them they made a few adjustments and reburned it in and this year it worked great!!
