0 fisherking01
More than likely it is running lean, Open the main needle about one quarter turn, or better yet do so while it is running at full throttle and adjust as needed, You will hear the difference in the engine as it gets more fuel. If you aren not comfortable with doing this, take it to a small engine shop and have them adjust it. If the adjustment fails to work then the diaphram in the carb is probably no good. Four screws to replace it and they are also carried by many small engine shops. Hope this helps. fisherking01
0 LovenLifeGuy
I had a similar problem with my 3hp 10 inch jiff about a year ago.. Mine would run for a while and then just stop. My problem was that the plastic around my air valve on my gas tank was stripped causing no gas flow even though it looked open. It's funny how it wont run without gas . If you have not checked the screw top it may be worth checking before doing to much. Just my.02 LovenLifeGuy
