how was the perch bite on waubay this weekend??????????

Not real sure but I called the Sportsmans Cove in Webster and he said the perch are still biting Southwest of the refuge, so take that how you want but I would think that they should be biting if a guy can find them!!! Hope to find out for myself soon again, but sounds like the ice is going fast, he recommends ATV travel now, so get out soon!!!

Perch bite this weekend was real tough except for about an hour around dusk, we hunted hard all day and had 2 fish for 6 guys and then just about filled our limit between 5:30 and 6:30. The ice is fine for an ATV. I fished walleyes after that and had a pretty good bite going in shallow water.

How Big Is a Big Perch on Waubay and what is usually a minnimum kepper. Thanks

My Grandfather caught a 16 inch perch on Waubay last Fall. Ussually most of the perch are 11 to 12 inches long.

My Grandfather doesn't ice fish. The last time I was up there was a month ago. I only caught 3 perch. All were 11 inches long.
