Four weeks from Saturday right? C&R on the Root......I'm ready! With this melt going on, It kinda makes me want to cast,,,Come on April.

Yesterday was a hard day not getting any fishing in!!

We are close to some of the best trout fishing in the Midwest!

Also, I am hoping to get at least one "smart fire" in with you this season!

Hey Dark . . . you sure you're in the right forum? That's a big beautifully ugly cat you got there.

Trout seem like a polar opposite to those cats. Maybe your like me and whatever is fighting on the end of your line is what you like fishing for.

I can't wait to be wading around in the streams again on a warm spring day.

Ya, this is the poetry (trout) forum right? I'll be back on the porno (catfish) forum in June. Well, there will be plenty of walleye fishing mixed in too...right Jim?

The first smart fire will be lit April 2 unless we get bad weather.

Looks like the river levels may be up a bit with some melting snow? Hopefully not too much. Two weeks to go!

Things are looking much much better than they did last Spring.

I don't recall such low waters like we had last year!

Can't wait. I am hoping to "pop"in to the Dark30 camp once or twice!

SHe went up over night. I actually have been quite concerned.

Even with all of the snow, levels aren't anything to brag about. Kind of low.

SO yes, some rain would be nice. If I could have my way a nice half inch to an inch a week for a month!!!!

However, this weekend could be real good with the flows kicking up a notch.

Let me know when you are going to be around for sure!
