lawdog
I know this is a NASCAR board, but there's a lot of other racing out there...Just happened to see Schumacher doesn't have a new Ferrari this year yet, they just retro'ed the old car to meet the new rules as their new car isn't ready yet. He was only 7th on the speed chart at their first practices yesterday for this weekends first race of the season. Can you believe Ferrari with a $400,000,000 F1 budget doesn't have the new car done yet? Can you imagine Dodge telling NASCAR the Charger wouldn't be ready until Bristol so they'll keep running the intrepids???Very strange...
JohnMickish
They didn't have it done at the begining of last year or the year before, and they don't have to. Nobody can touch it.You want to know what I like best about F1? You only have to watch 15 seconds to see who will win the race. 75% of the time whoever gets thru turn one first wins. slick814
Not having the car ready has happened like 3 or 4 times lately for Ferrari.. but they always seem to kick some serious butt...MacLaren came out with their new one last year earlier than engineering had hoped, and look at how crappy it did... took them half the season to fix theproblems, and by then it was way too late... I'm looking forward to this year. With Kimi & Juan Pablo running the Macs, Ferrari might have someone to watch out for for once!!!(And they'll both make passes when there's the room for it..) JohnMickish
Don't get me wrong, I like F1 from a technilogical standpoint, but usually the only passing after a lap or two is done when one car ducks in for a pit stop.
