I just found out that my brother in law has gotten tickets from a buyer for 2 seats in there skybox. We will get to watch all three races get fed and have alot of fun. Has anyone been there before? what should i expect?

I lived in Eden, NC for a few years... it's about 12 miles south of Martinsville, so we picked up the walk-up tickets every race... (I THINK that it's the only track to still hold any tickets for race day sales...)

It's AWESOME... You'll be able to see everything from your seats, the smell of the burning rubber, the noise, the crunch of sheet metal... *sigh* (you got room for another??LOL)

You might want to book hotel rooms now, though, as Martinsville is only about 12,000 people or so, and the hotels book up fast... you can also try to look in Eden, as it's a little bigger (20,000 or so)and has a few hotels, too.. otherwise, you might end up driving from 50 miles or more... (Greensboro, NC, Danville, VA, or Roanoke, VA)

It's going to be something you'll never forget, that's for sure!

My brother-in law is working there for about four more months. So his work has a house set up for him and everything. I talked to him this weekend and he said all we do is call and they come and get us and everthing. I can hardly wait.
