Best BuzzBaits?

Hiya,

I love buzzbaits, but I tell you what, hard to find good ones sometimes. For safety-pin styles, Boogermans are ok because they're cheap and easy to find most of the time, but they don't last very long. Best one out there (that's widely available - I have some custom ones guys have made for me that are awesome...) I think is the Hi-Jacker (I think that's what it's called), which is made by the Shrivers, Jack Sr. and Jack Jr. They're both long-time guides on Leech.

A few more options for inline buzzers. Windels' buzzer is a good one. Really gotten to like the Grim Reaper buzzer too. I don't think he sells them anywhere but the muskie expo, but Chric Jensen from CJ's Spinnerbaits has made a couple for me that were great too. Best one ever though (I think) was the old Marathon Musky Hawk. Herters also made a knock-off of it called the Musky Devon that was pretty good. The Musky Hawk hasn't been made for years, but I've managed to hoard a few and use them quite a bit. Great baits...wish they were still around...

Cheers,

RK

i forgot to mention i also use a anihalator (sp?) they do have a HSOforum. it is a cross between a buck tail, floating lure, buzzbait . you have the buzz blade in front with a floating body and a double buck tail behind. awsome lure. since it floats you can fish it very slow or fast.
