New to the area and post!!!

I know its not Quite canada but we have been thinking about heading to the North West Angle area and want to fish the canadian side. Are there any ideas on where we could get a guide or talk to someone that knows the area good?

Hemlock is a canadian and lives in the kenora region of lake of the woods. His broad knowledge of the area and people, should help you find just the right spot for your trip.

JZ,who is this one you call Hemlock? and where can I find him? You say he is from Kenora... isn't that north of the Northwest Angle? I have heard the fishing there is better then the Northwest Angle area, Why would Hemlock know this area when he probably fishes right at Kenora?

You are right, the canadian side at the angle is probably out of Hemlocks "territory". Try posting on the LOTW forum and you will get a good response there in regards to this area. Or better yet, do a search on your topic or just start going through previous posts there as this topic comes up quite often. There are probably upwards of 8-10 lodges open in the winter at the angle and any one of them provide you access to the canadian side as long as you have a snowmobile.
