marcum lx3 charging?

I just bought a LX-3. When I charge it I can only get the read out to say 20% I charged it for 10 hours and it went from 0% to 20% any suggestions??

The first charge can take a while...make sure all your connections are sound and try to charge overnight. Let us know what happens. Or you can try emailing [email protected] They may be able to help with that.

I have used it a few times I fished Red Lake this weekend I got it charged to 100% and in about 9 hours it was down to 0% but it held for another 3 hours? I charged it Saturday nite for 10 hours and it only got to 20%. I must not have had the connection tight I will try again thanks for the quick answer.

Sounds like the charger might be bad. Do you have a digital voltmeter? If so, connect it to the battery while it is charging. The battery should get to 14.5 volts or so before it drops into the maintenance mode. In maintenance mode the voltmeter should read about 13.2 volts.

Figured it out the instructions say to unplug the positive feed when you shut it off. Well me in all my wisdom i did not plug the pos. back in I am an (Contact US Regarding This Word)!!!! love my Marcum.

I dont take the positive off when I charge and get mine too read 100%. I can go all day and into the night easily on a charbe overnight.
